Gina Coletti is the Director of Marketing and Licensed Associate Broker at Smith & DeGroat Real Estate in Hauppauge & Mineola. Property Manager of the Nassau County Landmark Real Estate Portfolio and Mitchell Field Veteran Housing Complex, Ms. Coletti implements creative public-private partnerships, sells and leases residential and commercial properties and is a NY State Licensed Real Estate Appraiser. Prior to joining Smith & DeGroat Real Estate, Coletti had a successful 20-year career in corporate finance and sales with Citigroup’s Global Wealth Management and Retail Banking Divisions and an Executive Consultant with Rodan and Fields since 2011. Ms. Coletti is the Co-Founder and Co-Chair of the Suffolk County Alliance of Chambers, Inc., Past President and Board Member of the Nesconset Chamber of Commerce. As President, Coletti coordinated improvement projects with Suffolk County Legislators, Smithtown Town Councilmen, Highway & Parks Department and the Suffolk County DPW to create the Nesconset Gazebo Park, Toner “Water” Park, and completed the Downtown Revitalization decorative street light project along Smithtown Boulevard. She participates on the NS/LIJ Monter Cancer Center Executive Committee, Stony Brook Medicine Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Committee and a Vision Long Island panelist and moderator. Her dedication to the Smithtown students includes years of participation on the Smithtown Industry Advisory Board, Female Power Brunch, Business Olympics and the P.T.A. In 2013, she co-founded the “Lax for M.E. and the G.A.L.S.” lacrosse event benefiting the Maurer Foundation for breast health education, the Girls Athletic League of Smithtown and mentored the Smithtown High School D.E.C.A. student volunteers on how to run a successful lacrosse tournament fundraiser. The resulting procedure manual won 2nd place in N.Y. State at the D.E.C.A. Finals. Her deep involvement in community service led Legislator Kennedy to appoint Coletti as the 12th Legislative Districts’ Representative to both the Suffolk County Lake Ronkonkoma Advisory Board and the Suffolk County Department of Economic Development & Planning Downtown Revitalization Citizens Advisory Panel. In 2014, Coletti was nominated and honored by the Suffolk County Legislature as the “Suffolk County Woman of Distinction” and was interviewed on the Cablevision T.V. show “Meet the Leaders”. She was appointed Commissioner of the 12th Legislative District as 1st Vice President of the Suffolk County Women’s Advisory Commission and since elected Chairwoman. Ms. Coletti and Legislator Leslie Kennedy created and Co-Chair a Women’s Empowerment Network Group. In May 2015, Long Island Business News recognized her as the Co-Founder/Co-Chair of the Suffolk County Alliance of Chambers, Inc. for her leadership efforts educating small business owners across Long Island. Coletti's inspiration and respect lead her to a nomination as Long Island Business News “Top 50 Most Influential Women in Business” in both 2015 and 2018. She is a board member of the N.Y.I.T. School of Management and an Executive Board Member of Executive Consultants New York . She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and Finance from N.Y.I.T.
